Le contre-ténor allemand Andreas Scholl revient à Paris pour un nouveau programme thématique tel qu’il les affectionne, consacré cette fois-ci au répertoire musical anglais. Au côté du luthiste Edin Karamazov, il nous convie à la découverte des mélodies de John Dowland, compositeur et luthiste du tournant des XVIème et XVIIème siècles, Thomas Campion, Robert Johnson et des folk songs traditionnelles, ainsi que la cantate Nel dolce tempo de Haendel, qu’il a déjà gravée au disque avec l’Accademia Bizantina.
